County Wireless Being Replaced

All of the classroom Wi-Fi units and about half of the supporting network equipment is going to be replaced starting Christmas break 2025.  We are going to prioritize replacing the supporting network equipment in the network closets as replacing that equipment will cause an extended internet outage at each location. While the network switches are being replaced, Wi-Fi, IP Phones, and Internet access in general will not be available.

We will start replacing the Wi-Fi units in each classroom after the network equipment is replaced as this will only cause about a 5-minute outage per classroom if any at all as most classrooms should be able to use the Wi-Fi from a neighbor classroom.  Other areas of the buildings will be upgraded at a later time.
