YouTube access has been restored for teachers. Students currently will not be able to access Youtube. In order for filtering access to work correctly for all users, you must be recognized by the filtering system. If your computer has been updated you should now be recognized automatically when you sign in. The easiest way to test if you are recognized is by going to Poker.com. If you are not recognized by the state filters you will be shown a message saying “You have been identified as anonymous…” as in the picture below.
If you are seen as anonymous, you should restart your computer, log in, and go to Poker.com and check again. You should now be recognized as the user that signed into the computer as in the picture below”.
In the picture above you can see the state filters recognize the user Test as being signed in. “You have been identified as wcs\test from…” If you are still not recognized you can click the Login button and sign in with your email name and password.

When you are outside of our county schools, you have to be identified by the state filters in order to be authorized to use the internet. If you followed the above steps and are not seen as anonymous then you will not be required to sign in. If you are not recognized by the state filters you may have to sign in every time you open a browser or a new tab. If you have trouble, log off and sign back in to notify the filters who is signed into the computer.
