Classroom Computers – Teachers Laptops

This year we have ran into a lot of problems with computers not being were they are supposed to be.  Teachers need to be aware that computers are assigned to classrooms NOT the teacher in the classroom and if a teacher changes rooms the computers DO NOT go with them.  If a teacher moves to a room that does not have computers or a laptop for the teacher, the teacher will need to put in a work order so that the computers can be moved and renamed properly for the new room.  This is very important in our setup. See the following KB article for why.

Since so many teachers have moved their computers around and not followed procedure the technology department will be going room to room at each school and moving computers back where they belong when we start installing phones in the classroom in the next month.
